OVERVIEW

Nour Currie is an electronic music producer, score composer, sound designer, and animator currently based in Seattle, Washington. He writes, produces, and engineers electronic music, incorporating a variety of genres including Trip-Hop, EDM, Electronica, and Ambient.

BIOGRAPHY

Nour Currie began producing music in 2018, subsequently self-releasing his music on Spotify, YouTube, and other streaming platforms in 2019. He released his first independent studio album, Anti Lunar, on 6 April 2021. His second independent album, ended on siege, was released on 30 January 2023. His latest project, Winter Star EP, was released on 24 August 2024.

Nour's solo musical work encompasses various electronic music genres, including Trip-Hop, Electronica, EDM, and Ambient. He has released two studio albums independently: Anti Lunar and ended on siege, along with the compilation album Psychoacousticmusik, Vol. 1. His standalone single Dark Matter was released in 2022.

 

In addition to his solo music projects, Nour has composed the scores for various independent and student films in the Pacific Northwest. As a student at UW Bothell, he composed the scores and worked on sound design for student projects such as Glitter Tears and Untwined. He has also produced the scores and sound design for his own animated works.

 

Nour is also the creator of Axle Media, a YouTube channel featuring his animated short films. The channel includes his short films The Healing Machine and Rust and Resonance, with his third animated short, Honey Scars, currently under production.
